Rías Baixas Cruise Day Tour from Santiago de Compostela
Spend a day exploring the Ria of Arousa and the region of O Salnés. Get the opportunity to sail the largest estuarine inlets of the Rías Baixas on the southwestern coast of Galicia and discover the historic city of Cambados and the seaside resort of O Grove and the Island of La Toja. The region is particularly known for the quality of its seafood & white wine, its prestine white sand beaches, rough coast, cliffs, lighthouses, a world-class Golf course and its stunning views.
To offer as many departure dates as possible, we work on this route with two different providers with similar but slightly different itinerary:
Viloria's day tour includes a 1h cruise along the Ría de Arousa to see how they grow mussels, a visit of an Albariño white wine winery with wine tasting and visits of Pontevedra - the City dedicated to the Virgin Pilgrim -, the seaside resort town of O Grove (free time for lunch) and the typical Galician village of Combarro.
On ArtNatura's day tour you will visit an Albariño wine Bodega, the famous Playa de la Lanzada and board a catamaran on the Island of La Toja before having free time in Cambados for lunch and to visit the island Arousa. From €48 per person!
